refactor(core): adopt unsigned long for counts and rename parse_long -> parse_ulong a6e8f04802

- switch resalt, cpu_tim, alg to unsigned long to match crypt_gensalt() and count semantics
- replace strtol with strtoul in parse_ulong and ensure the updated function works properly
- fix resalt logic: replace 'while (--resalt >= 0)' (unsigned underflow) with a bounded loop
- update comments + alignment; add extended note on unsigned pitfalls and testing after refactors

All tests pass.
